I used to make this Egg-less chocolate cake many times during my pregnancy, since I had a craving for it. I made this whenever I wanted, even in the middle of night and enjoyed it. It takes less than 5 minutes to prepare. It does not require an oven, but a microwave instead. This is a mug cake, hence the ingredients listed are for only one serving.

Servings : 1

Ingredients:

  1. All purpose flour – 2 tablespoons
  2. Dark Cocoa powder – 1 tablespoon
  3. Baking powder – 1/4 teaspoon
  4. Milk – 2 tablespoons
  5. Vegetable or Canola oil – 2 tablespoons
  6. Sugar – 2 tablespoons
  7. Salt – a tiny pinch
  8. Lindor chocolate – 1 (optional)
  9. Chocolate chips / nuts – 1 tablespoon (optional)

Method:

  1. Take a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of all purpose flour, 1 tablespoon dark cocoa powder and 1/4 teaspoon baking powder.

2. Next is the most important step : Sift and mix the above dry ingredients twice. Add a pinch of salt also.

3. Now add 2 tablespoons (each) of milk, oil, sugar and mix well.

4. Transfer the above chocolate mixture to a coffee mug. You can also immerse a Lindor chocolate inside the chocolate mixture (optional). Also add chocolate chips / nuts according to your choice (optional).

5. Microwave for 90 seconds on high. After that allow it to cool down for 5 minutes. Now you can enjoy it with whipped cream on top.
