This is the most favorite food of my whole family. Whenever it is made, it just disappears within minutes before even it reaches the dinning table. I can’t control myself while cooking this. I just gobble them in the name of tasting them.

It can also be eaten as evening snack or as side dish for biriyani. Since we are using the Air Fryer, very less oil is used.

Servings : 2

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken thighs or breasts – 500 grams (cut into small 1 inch pieces)
  2. Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
  3. Chilli powder – 1 tablespoon
  4. Coriander powder – 1.5 tablespoon
  5. Garam Masala – 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
  7. Salt – as required
  8. Kesari powder – a pinch (for color)
  9. Rice flour – 1 tablespoon
  10. Corn flour – 1 tablespoon
  11. Curd – 3/4 cup
  12. Cooking Oil – 2 tablespoons

Method:

  1. Add all the ingredients in a bowl (except rice flour and corn flour)and marinate the chicken for 8 hours or overnight. Mix the rice flour and corn flour when the chicken is ready to be fried in the Air Fryer.

2. The below is the picture of my Air Fryer. Preheat the Air Fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.

3. Remove the rack from the Air Fryer and place the marinated chicken as shown. The rack should not be crowded, so that the chicken can cook and crisp properly. Place the rack back into the Air Fryer and cook for 5 minutes.

4. After 5 minutes, remove the rack and toss the contents or flip individual pieces so that both sides are cooked properly. Place the rack back into the Air Fryer and cook again for 5 minutes.

5. After the chicken is cooked for a total of 10 minutes, check if the chicken is cooked properly by cutting a small piece. The chicken should be opaque to look at. At this stage the chicken is cooked. If the chicken is cut into bigger pieces, it may take a little longer than 10 minutes, depending upon the size of the chicken pieces.

Serve hot and Enjoy!
